What MAC says: Taupe with silver shimmer and a frost finish. 

What I say: Taupe with a purplish tinge to it. It can be applied as a light veil of color or packed on to the lid for a much darker effect. 

How to wear it: Lightly applied all around the eye for a modern, day time, smokey eye. On the outer V or crease of the eye with Patina, Ricepaper, Vex or any other lighter eyeshadow acting as a base.

Is it worth it? Yes, it is a great quality eye shadow that would work on a wide range of skin tones. However, I have to point out that many brands produce similar colors. Catrice, Kiko, NYX, Inglot, Urban Decay (just to name a few) have their own version of this eyeshadow. Some of them are cheaper than MAC, so it’s up to you to decide how much you’d like to spend on it.
