Drugstore vs. High-end makeup products: which ones are worth it? II

Mascara is a product that, once you get to a certain price point (for me around $16/12€), paying more will not lead to a direct increase in the quality of the product. From my experience, High end mascaras (ex. Chanel, Benefit) perform just like the ones you can buy from Rimmel, Maybelline or Max Factor. In fact, I have heard many makeup artists claiming that the formula of a mascara doesn't differ much from one brand to another. It is usually the brush that makes the difference!

This mascara is a favorite of mine. The rubber wand separates my lashes and the product coats them in a way that makes them look thicker in a single application. It doesn't clump or butch and lasts all day, even in very hot weather.

Other mascaras that I have tried and liked from the drugstore are: Rimmel Sexy Curves and Maybelline The Rocket Volume Express. This Max Factor one feels a bit more thickening though.
